Good Morning Neighbors,
Unfortunately I'm sending this e-mail to notify the Association that one of our neighbors was recently robbed, at their home, after coming home from the grocery store. Sunday evening around 9 pm, the residents arrived at home from the grocery store. They pulled their car into the garage and proceeded to take the groceries into the house with the garage door still up. While the wife was in the house and the husband was in the garage getting groceries from the trunk, he was approached from behind and told to not turn around or he would have to kill him. The robber proceeded to restrain the resident from behind and remove the contents of both pockets before leaving. The residents immediately called 911 and the police arrived quickly.
The robber is described as a white male and was wearing a white shirt and white shorts with medium length hair. It appeared he was traveling on foot.
The resident is physically unharmed however, as one can imagine, emotionally distraught.
Just a reminder to keep an eye on our surroundings and house and vehicle doors locked.
Mindi
