The story continues and makes me even happier that we live in souch a great community. WEHA stepped up to donate $500 which was a huge help to Corey and his kids. For the longer term, it’s important that Corey gets a job. That’s where our neighbor Bob Overton stepped up. Bob has a great deal of experience with the military and the various skills acquired in the military. He offered help identify the skills that are transferable and marketable in civilian life and Corey accepted. The result was a couple of meetings and a skill assessment. Together, Bob and Corey created a professional resume aimed at getting Corey a job in the state prison system. Certainly it was above and beyond for Bob to offer his time and expertise to help this veteran. He did it and that’s why I like this community. Thanks Bob
